Jinan Qingqi Suzuki Motorcycle Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Qingqi Suzuki”) is located in the eastern New Area of Jinan High-tech Industrial Development Zone. The Company which was founded in July 1994 with a registered capital of US$ 24 million and put into production in July 1996, is a Sino-Japanese joint venture of middle and high-end motorcycle manufacturer.

Qingqi Suzuki takes "make travel more exciting, make life better" as its mission, adhering to the values of "develop products of superior value by focusing on the customer", and has always been committed to manufacturing motorcycles with the same quality as Suzuki. It got ISO9001 certification in 1999 and later ISO14001 certification in 2004.

After more than 30 years of growth, Qingqi Suzuki now owns a complete motorcycle manufacturing process including stamping, welding, painting, machining, engine assembly, and motorcycle assembly, and can produce various models of the under bone, the backbone, and the scooter. The Company has more than 1,500 employees, covers an area of 575 mu, and construction area of 88,000 square meters. It introduced "SPS" lean production management system, CNC machining centers, welding robots, painting robots and other automation equipment, and has an annual capacity of 450,000 units.

Since its foundation, Qingqi Suzuki has provided more than a dozen classic products to consumers including GS125, AN150, GZ125, FD110, GT125, GR150, UU125, UY125, US125, GIXXER150, especially the UY125 model, known as the "Internet celebrity vehicle". The products are well received by users and the market, and have achieved good social and economic benefits.

The Company's domestic sales rank the top three in the domestic gasoline two-wheel motorcycle market, with that of the 125CC scooter ranking the second in the segment market, and maintain 20% of the total domestic sales, consolidating its position in the first camp of the industry. The Company's total profit has hit a record high, and the cumulative tax payment exceeds 500 million yuan. The Company actively fulfills its social responsibilities, and repeatedly carrys out consumer assistance activities, voluntary blood donation, and love donations, demonstrating the responsibility of state-owned joint venture.

Qingqi Suzuki was awarded as the Top 500 tax-paying enterprise of Shandong Province, the voluntary blood donation unit of Shandong Province, the industrial design center of Shandong Province, the "Made in Shandong and Qilu fine products" manufacturer; Jinan foreign investment model enterprise, Jinan foreign investment advanced enterprise, Jinan "Green factory", Jinan innovation and development enterprise making outstanding contribution, Quancheng excellent enterprise, Outstanding enterprise making thirty years of contribution to Jinan, Jinan model workers' home, Tax credit A-level enterprise and first-class export enterprise; "Special contribution award 2020", Advanced Unit of financial work, Advanced unit of civilization and culture work, industry story creation base by CSGC.

The Company was also awarded as the model factory and the base of Suzuki's global sourcing by Suzuki. The products are exported to the developed countries in East Asia, such as Japan and South Korea, the developing areas including One Belt And One Road countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, the countries in Central &South America, e.g. Columbia, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, and also sold to African countries including Nigeria, Sudan, Mauritius and so on.

Starting business in 1909 as Suzuki Loom Works SUZUKI was incorporated in 1920 and built its first motorized bicycle the ’Power Free’ which earned a good reputation in 1952. The firm adopted the "S" mark as its corporate emblem in 1958. SUZUKI launched a range of motorcycles which were developed and manufactured by optimizing the most advanced technologies of that period. It established motorcycle plants subsidiaries and joint venture companies both domestically and overseas for the business expansion. Meanwhile SUZUKI started to participate in various international motorcycle races and has won the driver championship for years which has brought it great fame. In particular its GSX-R series takes an essential role. Today SUZUKI has developed into a world-renowned motorcycle brand favored by motorcycle lovers around the world. The "S" trademark is recognized by people throughout the world as a brand of quality products that offer both reliability and originality. In 2020 Suzuki Motor Corporation celebrated its 100th Anniversary of foundation.

Suzuki Motor Corporation signed a joint-venture contract for motorcycle production with Jinan Qingqi Suzuki Motorcycle Co. Ltd. in China in 1994. Production of SUZUKI Motorcycles began at Jinan Qingqi Suzuki Motorcycle Co. Ltd. in 1996. 

Under the mission statement “Develop products of superior value by focusing on the customer” QINGQI SUZUKI makes efforts to create core force in brand product technology and service constantly plans and opens up the new business platform and promotes the reforms since its inauguration depending on the prompt response to industry policy accurate grasp of market prospect efficient and coordinated management mechanism of SUZUKI and the operation system that keeps pace with the times.
